A private members’ club for the curious, the practiced, and the devoted. Admission by introduction only.
Sub rosa — Latin for “under the rose” — marks things said in confidence. That is how this house works: candlelit rooms, careful company, and one rule that never bends. What is said under the rose stays there.
We built this for a community that has waited for a room that takes it seriously — real negotiation, trained monitors on the floor, and an evening that ends with everyone accounted for and cared for.
Everything else in this house is negotiable. This is not.
Every scene is negotiated before it begins. Consent is specific, informed, and can be withdrawn at any moment, by anyone, for any reason.
Experienced monitors watch the floor at every event. They will check in, slow things down, or step in without hesitation.
Two words, known to everyone in the room, override any private arrangement. They are honored at once, without question.
A quiet room is kept for coming back down. No one leaves alone, and no one is rushed out the door.
Sub Rosa is not open to the public. Every member is proposed, verified, and welcomed into a house that knows its own.
Every candidate is proposed by a member in good standing or vetted by the house. There is no walk-in application.
New members complete a short orientation before their first event — the house rules, the safewords, and what to expect on the floor.
Membership is kept deliberately small. The house knows every name at the door, and every name stays at the door.
Three events a week, each with its own character. Dress code is vanilla to the door.
The main evening. Open floor, live monitors, and the full run of the house.
A themed evening, announced to members in advance. Dress for the theme; the house rules never change.
A quieter evening for conversation, practice, and the education nights described below.
Curiosity is welcome here. Selected midweek events are set aside for hands-on instruction, taught by experienced members and visiting educators.
How to ask for what you want, name your limits clearly, and use the house safewords with confidence.
A clear introduction to technique, safety, and floor etiquette — for beginners and returning students alike.
Reading a partner’s response, pacing a scene, and building intensity without losing sight of consent.
Adults twenty-one and older who are active in, or genuinely curious about, the kink and BDSM community, and who are ready to follow a real code of conduct.
No. Sub Rosa is a private club. Attendance requires membership. Membership is by introduction and verification — not by walking in off the street.
Street clothes to the door; changing areas are provided inside. Bring your own drinks if you drink — the house does not sell alcohol. Leave your phone in your bag; recording of any kind is not allowed anywhere on the premises.
No. New members complete an orientation before their first event, and the midweek education nights are built for beginners as much as for practiced hands.
Absolutely, and without exception. No photography, video, or audio recording is allowed on the premises. What happens at the house, and who attends, stays with the house.
Membership is by introduction. If a member has referred you, or you would like to introduce yourself to the house, write to us directly.
